Job Title: Remote Pharmacy Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technicians to join our dynamic team. These technicians will review Prior Authorizations for determination for a department that is part of a large healthcare insurance company. Responsibilities include approving or denying authorizations and then sending them to a Pharmacist for final review. The role involves handling all health plans and all types of medications.
Responsibilities
+ Processing prescription exceptions, resolving claim rejects, and conducting member and physician outreach.
+ You will enter member demographics and prescription information into the data processing system, research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues, and escalate questions regarding prescriptions to a Pharmacist.
+ Additionally, you will assist with inbound and/or outbound patient or physician calls.
Requirements
+ Registered pharmacy technician in the state they live.
+ Must have a HS Diploma/GED
+ Must have strong computers skills. Will not be on the phones.
+ NHA
+ PTCB
Work Environment
+ This is a professional REMOTE environment. You will work with multiple screens and within multiple systems. A strong WiFi connection and a dedicated office space with a closed door are required.
+ Shifts are Monday-Friday from 8am-8pm in your time zone, with rotating weekends every 4-6 weeks and some holidays.
+ Training will be from 10-6:30 EST. Equipment including a computer, monitor, and headset will be provided.
