Job Description
The DG Analyst (Clinical Operations) will be key participant in data quality and governance activities related to the clinical study lifecycle with a focus on the clinical operations and related data (not on patient level data). As an important member of a small team, the DG Analyst will work closely with business and systems stakeholders, lead/participate in information gathering sessions, help drive consensus, and contribute to and/or have responsibility for producing data governance deliverables such as process/data flows and data lineage; documentation of roles and responsibilities (data ownership); data standards and rules; data profiling analysis to determine data quality, consistency, and adherence to standards; controlled vocabularies (approved lists of values), data catalogs, etc.

Skills and Requirements
5+ years of experience as a data analyst working with large data sets within the clinical space
Strong knowledge of the clinical trials lifecycle, including a good understanding of process and data related to clinical trial operations (NOT patient data management).
Experience with any CTMS (clinical trial management system) and other related systems such as Asset and Portfolio Management, eTMF, Veeva systems.
Good understanding of SQL and the ability to analyze data independently, e.g., run SQL queries to extract, load, integrate, transform and compute data, analyze data using Excel, etc.
Ability to create process and data maps, e.g., use Visio to create swim lane process diagrams and data flow diagrams.
High dependability and integrity; the ability to work on multiple initiatives at the same time, manage own work and time, communicate well (oral/written), work with business users at various levels, lead workshops and collaborative discussions, create good documentation
Bachelors and/or masters degree in areas related to pharmaceuticals. null
