Remote Cloud Security Architect
Position Responsibilities:  Design and implement technical solutions for business functional requirements using cloud services and data platforms while guiding stakeholders in strategic planning to achieve impactful outcomes, with a focus on security and alignment with company vision, specifically within the Azure suite and external platforms Lead cross-functional project teams to foster collaboration among IT and business units, ensuring projects align with organizational goals Provide expert technical analysis and design guidance throughout the development and deployment of business applications, with attention to all system components Evaluate and develop security architectures, ensuring systems comply with the organization's security guidelines and effectively mitigate risks Collaborate with business users to ensure technical solutions align with requirements and effectively support operational needs Stay informed on technology trends to inform solution designs, advance IT strategies, and communicate key implications to both IT and business teams Ability to travel as required Other duties as assigned Required Education and Experience:   Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 4 to 6 plus years of experience in Cloud Architecture and Information Security or High School Diploma/General Education Diploma and 8 plus years of specific experience 3+ years of experience in Azure Cloud and Database product architecture 3+ years of experience focused on cloud security Knowledge of business continuity and disaster recovery continuity of operations plans Preferred Education and Experience:  Master’s degree Multi-Cloud experience Experience in Snowflake or other databases and Power BI or similar reporting platforms DevSecOps experience Git Repos, Jenkins, Ansible experience Experience in cloud computing (SaaS / PaaS / iPaaS), including knowledge of their security services and best practices Strong understanding of security principles, protocols, and technologies, with expertise in areas like network security, identity management, and encryption Knowledge of business continuity and disaster recovery continuity of operations plans Benefits At the Reyes Family of Businesses, our Total Rewards Strategy prioritizes the holistic well-being of our employees.
