POSITION SUMMARY Responsible to review orders, charges and related diagnoses from radiation oncology records to ensure services billed are consistent with the record documentation and current billing/coding regulations. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Education High School Diploma or GED
Minimum Experience 2 years' coding experience Credentials from AAPC or AHIMA; or Radiation Oncology Certified Coder credential. 
Required Registration/License/Certification Certification from AHIMA or AAPC
Preferred Education Bachelor’s degree
Preferred Experience 3+ years of oncology coding/billing experience
Preferred Registration/License/Certification CCS CPC ROCC
