Job Title: Electrical Engineer PE Location: Remote (Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, Pennsylvania) Company: Actalent Description: Actalent is hiring an Electrical Engineer to support a reputable A&E firm with a strong presence in the Midwest. The firm focuses on publicly funded projects, including jails, correctional facilities, municipality buildings, first responder buildings, fire stations, police stations, distribution centers, and postal services. They also have a large contract with the USPS for MEP design on various projects. As an Electrical Engineer, you will manage projects across Ohio, Michigan, and Florida, overseeing the production of drawings and ensuring quality control. You will work within a Revit-based environment, designing and assisting other MEP teams. Travel to client sites throughout the Midwest is required to interface with customers and provide solutions to project issues. This role is a consulting position with Actalent, with the potential to transition to a direct employee after 9 months. The position is 100% remote for qualified individuals located near major Midwest cities with large airports. Responsibilities: + Project management for various clients, overseeing drawing production and quality control. + Design within Revit and assist other MEP teams. + Travel to client sites to interface with customers and address project issues. Requirements: + Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. + Professional Engineering license. + 8+ years of experience with Revit electrical MEP design, project management, and mentoring. + Understanding of Revit and construction document production. + Prior experience in project management for commercial projects.
