Provides management to ensure the business unit has proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people in place to effectively grow the business unit and to ensure operating efficiency.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Provide direction and leadership toward the achievement of the Company's philosophy, mission, strategy and the business unit's annual goals and objectives.
2. Coordinate development of operating budgets according to the budget calendar; monitors monthly and other financial statements; makes suggestions of appropriate corrective action as required.
3. Facilitate administrative function activities to support the overall business unit objectives and plans ensuring due diligence is appropriately conducted.
4. Represent the Company in a professional manner with clients and business partners.
5. Undertake and execute special projects as requested by the Office president.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Good Interpersonal skills are essential and an ability to communicate and influence at all levels
2. Must possess and maintain current knowledge of the insurance industry
3. Ability to develop, foster, and maintain an excellent working relationship with clients, carriers and employees
4. Excellent presentation skills
5. Good written and verbal skills
6. Maintain travel schedule depending on the needs of clients, Agents, and new business
7. Ability to work extended hours when necessary

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree
2. Five years of Wholesale experience
3. Previous insurance marketing or compliance experience
