Remote In Colorado Accounts Payable Specialist

\n\t\t\t\t\t

Essential Duties & Responsibilities\n•\tAssure that all invoices are matched to authorized purchase orders and proper approval to be paid has been received.\n•\tProvide backup support to AP Manager with check printing, positive pay processing, and petty cash box.\n•\tPrepare various reports for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting. \n•\tPerform balance sheet account reconciliations.\n•\tCorporate Credit Card reconciliation.\n•\tPrepare journal entries. \n•\tCollaborate with purchasing and receiving departments to ensure proper handling of invoice matching issues.\n•\tPerform month-end assignments to help with the closing process, including accruals\n•\tComplete deposit, coding, tracking, and journal entry. \n•\tCommunicate with co-workers, management, clients, vendors, and others in a courteous and professional manner. \n•\tResearch transactions and other issues within the system to either resolve or get assistance from the managers in the department to resolve.\n•\tMaintain accounts payable reports, spreadsheets and corporate accounts payable files. \n•\tMaintain regular process for scanning of AP documents. \n•\tPerform various other duties as assigned.

MUST:\n•\tKnowledge of account reconciliation and general accounting principles.\n•\t3+ years working in Accounts Payable\n•\tKnowledge of computerized accounting software, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel and all Microsoft Office applications.\n\nSOFT:\n•\tSkill in effective oral and written communication.\n•\tAbility to perform detailed accounting duties with completeness and accuracy.\n•\tAbility to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00
