Job Title: Jr Electrical Designer Job Description The Junior Electrical Designer is responsible for assisting in the design of small- and medium-scale project systems and components during the Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Document Phases. This role involves working closely with designers or engineers to meet project scope requirements and organizational design standards. Responsibilities + Collect materials required for designs. + Draft designs using computer-aided design (AutoCAD and Revit) software. + Create diagrams and layouts to illustrate the workflow of designs. + Collaborate with the design team to review drawings and designs. + Adjust drawings according to feedback from engineers or designers. + Ensure designs comply with company regulations and quality standards. + Set up drawings and configuration files. + Provide basic calculations for use by the design team in preparation of project documents. + Manage general downloads and files received from outside consultants and architects. + Work from rough sketches, verbal direction, and specifications created by engineers and designers. + Provide quality customer service, including interacting with customers, answering customer inquiries, and effectively handling customer complaints. + Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies. Essential Skills + Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. + At least 2 years of experience in electrical design. + MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) experience. + Ability to work from rough sketches, verbal direction, and specifications. + Experience in providing basic calculations for project documentation. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $70000.00 Client will pay for the candidate's benefits in full. They also have unlimited PTO and flexible work from home model with fully remote as a possibility. Workplace Type This is a fully remote position.
