Description:
We are currently hiring for a remote opportunity for a Mechanical Estimator. Join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in our estimating process. Your responsibilities will include:
+ Coordinating and participating in pre-bid and takeoff meetings to strategize the estimating process.
+ Overseeing and finalizing all take-offs, bid packages, and schedules of values completed by estimators prior to submission to ensure accuracy.
+ Reviewing, finalizing, and submitting change orders.
+ Collecting and analyzing project costs, including raw materials, labor/manpower, equipment, and tools to ensure estimates are accurate.
+ Identifying and quantifying potential cost uncertainties to ensure costing models capture the full range of potential costs.
Qualifications:
+ OSHA 10 certification.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for cost accounting, reporting, methods, and programs.
+ Experience managing budgets ranging from a minimum of $1 million upwards.
+ Ability to use takeoffs as a reference, with no drawings typically done.
+ Experience with projects varying in size from tens of millions to hundreds of millions.
Experience Plus:
+ Construction knowledge.
+ Knowledge of design.
+ Ability to read paper drawings.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $65.00/hr.
