Job Description Insight Global is seeking an experienced Civil or Structural Engineer (7+ years) to support FEMA Building Science in enhancing natural hazard resiliency for an engineering company. Responsibilities include researching building damage causes, developing mitigation measures, and communicating findings to stakeholders. The role involves creating technical publications, delivering training, and supporting the development of building codes and FEMA policies. The engineer will also provide technical support to FEMA and present research outcomes at various events. Collaboration with CDM Smith staff and other contractors is essential. This position offers the option to work remotely anywhere, but is preferred from DC or in Texas.
