This is not a remote position. This is an in-person position. The Remote Patient Attendant - Lead (U) provides leadership and supervision to all Remote Patient Attendants.Promotes a level of professionalism, leads by example, and encourages a caring, helpful, and responsive attitude toward patient observation and monitoring of assigned high-risk patients.Coordinates and supervises remote video monitoring functions and supports the department as required.The Remote Video Monitoring Technician Lead is responsible for the coordination of remote video monitoring services on his/her shifts; promotes cooperation and assures proper communication flow between Remote Patient Attendants and clinical areas.The incumbent in this role leads and promotes a secure environment for patients and teammates and performs all related job responsibilities in a safe manner.CORE JOB FUNCTIONS
Leads daily department operations to achieve quality results, patient satisfaction, goals, and objectives.Assists and aids in evaluation of on-the-job performance. Audits and maintains department metrics for unit and organizational goals.Promotes quality improvement and system-thinking by openly supporting and consistently communicating the mission of the department and organization.Collaborates with leadership team on the development of, implementation and evaluation of policies and procedures designed to improve quality of care and operational efficiency.Assists in developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives that directly support strategic plan and vision of the organization.Maintains compliance with policies and standard work for the department to ensure metrics are met and processes are appropriately followed.Oversees staffing, training and supervision of staff including participation in annual evaluations.Ensures adequate supplies.Monitors usage and oversees proper working order of equipment.Interacts and effectively communicates with nursing staff, rounding floors as needed.Schedules units as needed. CORE QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Certification and Licensing:
Valid State of Florida LPN license
Certification in relevant specialty or field
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes:
