Job Description Insight Global is seeking a PostgreSQL DBA for our jewelry insurance client. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the backend of three in-house applications that utilize PostgreSQL, ensuring their optimal performance, availability, and security. Key Responsibilities:  Implement and maintain backup and maintenance standards for PostgreSQL databases.  Develop and execute disaster recovery (DR) plans.  Enforce security best practices for PostgreSQL databases.  Create comprehensive documentation for database standards and procedures.  Train existing MS-SQL Server DBA staff on PostgreSQL administration and best practices. Skills and Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in PostgreSQL database administration.  Experience with or desire to learn SQL Server or Cosmos DB  Proficiency in AWS CLI and experience with automation in AWS.
