Senior Auditor (Remote)

Position Overview

As a Senior Auditor, you will be responsible for overseeing and conducting audits to ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial statements. You will also be responsible for managing audit teams and communicating audit findings to clients.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and conduct audits of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and other accounting principlesLead audit teams and manage staff during audit engagementsCommunicate audit findings and recommendations to clientsProvide technical knowledge and support to audit staffPerform research on technical accounting issues and communicate findings to audit staffConduct audits of employee benefit plansPerform compilations, reviews, and other assurance services as neededEnsure compliance with regulations and company policiesMaintain knowledge of current accounting and auditing practicesCollaborate with other departments to enhance client service and relationships

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related fieldCPA preferred not Required3+ years of experience in public accounting or related fieldStrong technical knowledge of GAAP and accounting principlesExperience with PPC and CaseWare softwareExcellent communication and teamwork skillsInitiative and ability to work independentlyExperience with audits of employee benefit plans preferredCompliance with continuing education requirementsProficiency in MS OfficeExperience in audits, compilations, and reviewsThorough knowledge of GAAP accounting
