Job Summary:
We are seeking 10+ Years of experienced Senior Warranty Management Consultant to lead and optimize warranty processes across various industries. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of warranty management practices, systems integration, and customer service frameworks and expertise in developing and implementing strategies that enhance warranty program efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Warranty Process Optimization: Analyze and improve current warranty management practices, implementing best-in-class strategies that enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Warranty System Implementation: Lead the development, customization, and implementation of warranty management software and tools. Collaborate with IT and software vendors to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
• Claims Management: Oversee warranty claims processing, ensuring claims are addressed promptly, accurately, and in line with company policy. Implement strategies to reduce fraudulent or invalid claims.
• Supplier and Vendor Collaboration: Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure adherence to warranty terms and conditions. Negotiate contracts and service agreements where necessary.
• Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate with sales, product development, customer service, and legal teams to ensure warranty policies align with company goals and regulatory standards.
• Customer Satisfaction: Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction in warranty services, ensuring customer issues are resolved promptly.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warranty management, providing regular reports to senior leadership. Use data analytics to forecast warranty claims and costs.
• Training & Mentorship: Train and mentor junior staff in best practices for warranty management. Provide insights based on industry trends and your experience.
Requirements:
• Experience: Minimum 15 years in warranty management, warranty consulting, or a related field.
• Expertise: Strong knowledge of warranty systems, claims processing, and contract management. Experience working with enterprise warranty management software is preferred.
• Leadership: Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and projects. Strong negotiation skills with suppliers and vendors.
• Analytical Skills: Expertise in data analysis and reporting tools, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and forecast trends.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to various stakeholders.
• Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of warranty regulations, product liability, and industry best practices in warranty management across sectors like automotive, electronics, manufacturing, etc.
The annual salary for this position is between $1,30,000 – $1,53,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
