**Responsibilities**
+ Operates and maintains complex sensing equipment as part of an aircrew, managing various sensor platforms as needed
+ Administers components of the UAS (Unmanned Aircraft Systems) program, such as UAS accident investigation, training, UAS vehicle registration with the FAA (Federal Aviation
+ Administration) and insurance, and UAS maintenance
+ Operates, maintains, and serves as the subject matter expert on the UAS used by the company
+ Possesses the ability to fly all UAS systems owned or procured by the company
+ Develops and facilitates training programs within the company for UAS certification, basic flight, and technical qualification
+ Stays up-to-date with emerging technology trends related to imaging, sensing, and unmanned aircraft systems
+ Maintains a complete understanding of federal, state, and local regulations governing imaging and unmanned aircraft
+ Collaborates with various departments within the company to ensure the effective and efficient use of UAS technology in support of business objectives
+ Possess a certificate and remain current with FAA requirements as a Remote Pilot under FAA 14CFR Part 107.
+ A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Three or more years of experience operating and maintaining advanced sensing equipment and unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) to support company operations.
+ Experience developing comprehensive training programs for UAS certification, flight, and technical qualification.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Remote Sensing, Geomatics or a related field.
+ Experience in operating Unmanned Aircraft Systems and maintaining complex sensing equipment (LiDAR and OFIL) as part of an aircrew.
+ Seven to ten years of related experience.
**Additional Information**
+ This position’s work mode is **on-site** . The employee will report to an SCE facility or in the field location. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
