PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
The Sr. Billing Support Specialist provides high level support of the assigned function(s) by performing various analytical and project activities. The incumbent is responsible for supporting operations to ensure maximum efficacy and efficiency within the assigned function(s).
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide high level assistance in the management of applicable processes within the assigned function(s).Provide active support of business implementations, billing clearinghouses.Generate and distribute diverse reports for management review on a routine basis.Review current policies and procedures within the assigned function(s) with a focus on continue improvement efforts; providing recommendations for improvement as necessary.Collaborate with cross-divisional teams to facilitate revenue cycle initiatives within the assigned function(s); serving as a point of contact as necessary.Mentor other staff as applicable.Assist with various projects as assigned by a direct supervisor.Additional responsibilities may include focus on one or more departments or locations.
