Remote Transformation Manager

Siemens Government Technologies is seeking a dynamic and experienced Transformation Manager to lead our organization's efforts in improving data governance, data integrity, and data ownership while championing digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive organizational change, foster a culture of data stewardship, and align digital solutions with our business objectives. This role requires a strong leader with expertise in change management, project management, and a proven ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Principal Responsibilities:Strategy Development and Execution:•Define and execute a comprehensive strategy for data governance, integrity, and ownership.•Develop roadmaps for digital transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals.Data Governance Leadership:•Establish frameworks, policies, and processes to improve data quality and governance across the organization.•Collaborate with business units to assign data ownership and accountability.Digital Transformation Advocacy:•Act as a change agent to promote digital adoption and innovation.•Identify and recommend technology solutions that enhance business performance and operational efficiency.Stakeholder Engagement and Influence:•Work closely with executive leadership to communicate the vision and benefits of transformation initiatives.•Engage and influence cross-functional teams to foster collaboration and alignment on transformation goals.Change Management:•Develop and implement change management plans to ensure smooth adoption of new processes, tools, and technologies.•Provide training, resources, and support to employees during transitions.Project Management:•Oversee transformation-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets.•Monitor progress, manage risks, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders.Performance Measurement and Improvement:•Establish metrics to measure the success of data governance and transformation initiatives.•Continuously evaluate and refine processes based on performance data and feedback.
Required Experience:•Six plus years of proven experience leading large-scale digital transformation and data governance initiatives.•Expertise in change management methodologies and frameworks.•Strong project management skills, including experience with Agile methodology.•Exceptional leadership and team-building abilities.•Superior communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.•Analytical mindset with the ability to assess risks, resolve conflicts, and drive data-driven decisions.•Proficiency in data governance frameworks, tools, and technologies.•Demonstrated ability to align IT solutions with business objectives.
Preferred Qualifications:• applicants that reside in/near Washington, D.C.•Certification in change management (e.g. PROSCI, CCMP, ITIL Practitioner: Organizational Change Management)•Certification in project management (e.g. PMP, PMP-ACP, PRINCE2)•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field.•Experience in cloud-based digital transformation solutions (e.g. Microsoft Azure, AWS)•Knowledge of business intelligence tools and data visualization platforms (e.g. Power BI, Tableau).•Background in organizational development or business process reengineering.•Experience with Deltek Costpoint and Salesforce

An annual incentive target also is part of the compensation package for this position.
