Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Rental Operations Intern to join our dynamic team. This position will serve as a supportive role within Butler Machinery performing various tasks related to the day-to-day operations of the Rental Department. Responsibilities: + Work with the Rental Business Manager to promote the sale and rent of Rental Equipment + Assist with rentals, sales, and rental invoicing to internal and external customers + Assist the Rental Business Manager with analyzing market opportunity data to develop rental forecasts for each territory + Conduct regular reviews of competitive rental rates to ensure that rates are in alignment with the market while maintaining profitability target goals of the department + Maintain and updates training for the rental business system + Assist the Rental Business Manager with processing rental agreements, reviewing certificates of insurance, UCC filing, manage CAT Rental Store leads, sales reporting, and analytic reporting + Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications: + Individual who is working towards a degree in a business related or other related major in college preferred. + Computer skills essential with experience in Power-Point and Excel required. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Attention to detail and a high level of organization. + Good decision-making skills. + Position would require a minimum of 15 to 25 hours per week during the school year, potentially 30 to 40 hours outside of the school year.
