Rental Operations Specialist

The **Rental Operations Specialist** supports the day-to-day operations, administration, and financial functions of the Global Rental Operations Business Unit. This role prepares, executes, and maintains group contracts within the global rental business. Responsibilities include managing room blocks, processing deposits and final payments, coordinating with clients and resorts, managing rooming lists, and ensuring a seamless check-in process. The role also involves managing multiple distribution email boxes, assisting with leads, handling ad hoc projects, and participating in organizational initiatives. The Specialist will act as a liaison between the client, property and different areas within Global Rental Operations. This role is hybrid in office Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and remote Thursday and Friday. **How You'll Shine:** + Liaison between clients, properties, and Global Rental Operations (Yield, Operations, and Sales). + Managing room block changes, coordinating with vendors for group needs, and ensuring deadlines for contracts, payments, and special requests are met. + Maintaining accurate records in systems like iHotelier, Opera, and FOCUS, and providing excellent customer service to clients throughout the booking process. + Managing internal business group blocks, preparing group contracts, handling payment discrepancies, and communicating with both clients and properties. + Tracking group pick-up reports, distributing rooming lists, and preparing reports for senior leadership. + Additional tasks may involve supporting special projects, managing Direct Bill groups, assisting with ad hoc requests, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on company-wide initiatives. **What You'll Bring:** + College Degree preferred. + Travel industry and customer services experience highly preferred. + Contracting, group and meeting experience preferred. + Effective relationship-building skills preferred. + Required proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Intermediate Excel skills. + Knowledge of iHotelier, RCC, FOCUS, Opera, AdobeSign. + 1-2 years working with the travel industry, group/meeting experience preferred. _Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement._ **How You'll Be Rewarded:** We offer a diverse range of comprehensive health and welfare benefits to associates who work 30 or more hours per week to meet your needs and support you throughout your career with us.
