Job overview and responsibilities
Position is primarily for Aircraft Warranty Recovery and CURE related to Line and Base and Shops when required. Job includes physical movement of parts, computer tracking and research, interface with involved departments, attending Warranty scheduled meetings (potential for some travel), forward thinking identification of potential Warranty and education of work groups. Task are physically demanding. Train to be the SME for MM Environmental compliance and audits.
Act as a subject matter expert/consultant to internal team members and other stakeholdersIE Engineering / Finance / Procurement / Inventory Planning / ECT and collaborate directly with Maintenance Technicians to raise and maintain warranty awarenessWork onsite at Line Maintenance station to evaluate parts for warranty disposition and submit claims for defective parts removed because of Line Maintenance eventsTracking and accounting for Warranty items for cost recoveryWork on site for EV audits or compliance items as outlined for MM onlyIsolate and disposition -9 materials under the CURE programEnvironmental Station Checks SME related to SCEPTRE and materials tracking / dispositionsManage up to 5 personnel as assigned for project itemsDevelop additional items as assigned by MGR / DIRAbility to accomplish classroom style education and overviewsPresentation through PP or like applicationsIdentify and drive process improvements related to United’s warranty programEducation of personnel and departmentsSome face-to-face training in groupsMinor classroom style presentationsTravel – Meetings or station visits as requiredThe minimum salary for this position is $68,640.00 and is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. The base pay range for this role is $68,640.00 to $88,440.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
