Seminole Classic Casino pioneered Indian gaming when it opened as the country’s first large stakes bingo hall in 1979, eventually expanding with gaming machines and poker. The landmark casino is now home to over 1,000 state-of-the-art, newest-title slot machines and other local favorites such as Diamond Lottos, Fort Knox, Pirate’s Loot. The gaming leader also offers 24/7 live table game action with games including Blackjack, Baccarat, Spanish 21, Three Card Poker and many more. Seminole Classic Casino also features the Hollywood Hall entertainment pavilion and the Stage Bar, a full-service bar that features live entertainment nightly. Patrons can enjoy the EATstreet dining area with food options such as Soygood, Slice and Mojoe as well as a burger and wing joint named Flying Cow.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Players’ Club Supervisor and Players’ Club Manager solicits and identifies new gaming customers for the Player’s Club program. Maintains customer information while assuring the highest standards of data entry and guest relations. Assists with mobile sign-ups for guests on the casino floor. Assists in operations of promotions and events on and off property.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

May include but are not limited to:

 

• Presents an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality, while being able to project a professional appearance.


• Greets and interacts with all guests and fellow team members in the casino in a courteous and professional manner.


• Signs up qualified customers for the Player’s Club Unity Card program and maintains integrity of database by following precise standards of data entry.


• Delivers a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable entertainment experience.


• Promotes Seminole Classic Casino by communicating with customers in an enthusiastic helpful and friendly manner.


• Works well under pressure and handles multiple customer inquiries in any transaction.


• Responsible for the gift/cash/gift card inventory issued. Must perform and balance transactions with guests; prepare paperwork, balance sheets and documents in accordance with our Standards and Procedures (S&P's), and within the guidelines of Internal Controls. Signs all documents legibly and in accordance with S&P's.


• Commits to routinely go above and beyond to aide in the achievement of organizational goals.


• Has a thorough understanding of the Player’s Club benefits, up-to-date knowledge of player tracking system, promotions, events, entertainment and general property information.


• Creates and issues Player’s Club cards and promotes the program and related promotions.


• Communicates effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.


• Ensures the protection of customer’s rewards and credit lines.


• Demonstrates a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations.


• Demonstrates actions and behaviors that reinforce the Company’s Mission and Values of Communication, Integrity, Fun, Respect, Accountability, Passion and Dedication.


• Ensure prompt and discreet notification to management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations.


• Must be able to work as a team.


• Must be able to represent the Player’s Club as a supervisor when needed.


• Communicates service standards to staff and trains staff to perform to those standards.


• Must have the ability to train new and existing staff members in all of their position duties.


• Must have the ability to manage an inventory bank (cash, vouchers, gift cards, etc.).


• Conducts themselves in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, and Seminole Tribe of Florida/departmental policies and procedures.


• Other duties as assigned.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: 

Must be able to work in a smoking environmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans. First preference in hiring, training, promoting and in all other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements. Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.As part of Seminole Gaming’s employment process, final candidates will be required to obtain gaming licensure by completing a background check with Seminole Gaming Compliance and Regulations, prior to an offer being extended.
