The Repair Agent performs high quality repairs on consumer electronics and appliances by addressing all unit symptoms and making repairs as necessary. Their responsibilities include communicating effectively and educating customers on product repairs.

Key ResponsibilitiesDrives a positive customer experience by building relationships and providing solutions to their needs.Diagnoses, orders, and makes installations for product repairs.Contacts customers with quotes for repairs and answers questions regarding cost, product installation, and operation.Completes routine functionality and quality testing on all products.Partners with colleagues and leaders to manage work-in-process (WIP) repairs.Basic QualificationsAble to stand and sit for long periods of timeAble to work in a fast-paced environmentAble to work in a non-climate-controlled environmentAble to lift weight up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation6 months of experience diagnosing and repairing consumer electronics and/or appliancesPreferred QualificationsConsumer Electronics and/or Appliance Manufacture Repair CertificationSealed System Certification applicable to appliances6 months of experience using Best Buy's Star and Smart Parts system or other Parts Inventory System
