Job Overview:
The R&M Technician III is responsible for performing Level III Repair and Maintenance activities on LWD, RSS, and BHE assets while leading an R&M service team. This role includes mentoring team members, coordinating equipment priorities, maintaining safety and quality standards, and ensuring workshop efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Perform Level III repair and maintenance duties on LWD/RSS/BHE equipment. Organize and support daily tasks for the technician team based on location demands. Mentor R&M technicians and trainees, acting as deputy to the R&M Supervisor. Conduct preliminary failure analyses and report findings to the R&M Supervisor. Maintain and ensure proper calibration, certification, and documentation of workshop equipment and tools. Verify the accuracy of service records and ensure proper documentation. Utilize service delivery quality management systems (e.g., WPTS, WCAP, MyAdvisor, JDE). Promote safety by adhering to and enforcing all safety procedures and attending mandatory safety meetings. Align with Weatherford’s Enterprise Excellence Process and Quality Policy.Skills:
Strong communication, organizational, troubleshooting, and multitasking abilities under demanding conditions. Knowledge of LWD, RSS, and BHE products and services. Mechanically and electrically inclined. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Qualifications:
Essential:
Minimum Bachelor or Diploma in Engineering. Competency in R&M Technician Level III responsibilities.Preferred:
At least one year of experience as a Weatherford R&M Technician. Completion of Weatherford R&M Technician Level I and II training.
