Job Title: Repair Services Technician (Immediate Need)
\n\nRepair Services Technician Pay: $19.69-$26.25
\n\nRepair Services Technician: Monday - Friday 7:30am- 4:30pm

\n\nWe are seeking a Repair Services Technician for a long term position with our client, a leading designer and manufacturer of power testing instruments and systems located in Lake Forest, CA. The Repair Services Technician will interface with the Service Repair Manager to determine if the issue is within design specification, is a design flaw, or is being used for the proper application to validate under warranty or out of warranty status of repairs, and conduct the repair, calibration, cleanup and final testing of these units. The Repair Services Technician must be able to absorb and understand applications such as LEDs, electric cars, fuel cells, power supplies, battery regen systems etc.
\n\nThe Repair Services Technician Responsibilities:
\n\n\n\t\n\tEnsure RMA repairs and calibrations are completed per 8-10 day repair goals.
\n\t\n\t\n\tAbility to analyze and diagnose technical issues per designs and specifications of equipment serviced.
\n\t\n\t\n\tAssist Service Repair Manager in material control and planning functions to support Repair Process.
\n\t\n\t\n\tMaintain and improve on department Key Performance Repair Indicators (KPI’s).
\n\t\n\t\n\tHandle escalated customer issues replicating customer setup to ascertain problem
\n\t\n\t\n\tRead schematics, apply electrical/electronic principles and troubleshoot instruments to board or component level where applicable to the support team of Service Technicians.
\n\t\n\t\n\tUnderstand and apply AC theory to customer issues involving AC power test instruments duplicating customer setups to assess issue
\n\t\n\t\n\tAbility to run Calibrations functions on a variety of instruments and equipment.
\n\t\n\t\n\tMaintain a clean, organized and professional work environment, with Safety as the key focus.
\n\t\n\t\n\tDiligent in solving and following up on customer issues
\n\t\n\t\n\tEffective time management in an effort to meet or beat resolution time
\n\t\n\t\n\tWork within prescribed electrical safety rules established by OSHA and Quality guidelines
\n\t\n\n\nThe Repair Services Technician Qualifications:
\n\n\n\t\n\t3-4 years or more experience in AC power electronics
\n\t\n\t\n\tAA or Bachelor’s degree, desired
\n\t\n\t\n\tAbility to work in a fast moving Repair Lab with a lab team.
\n\t\n\t\n\tWorking knowledge of electrical instrument calibration for power, medical and battery systems.
\n\t\n\t\n\tWorking knowledge of inventory management and control is required to perform daily repair tasks.
\n\t\n\t\n\tCapacity to work under tight or shifting deadlines and adhere to procedures
\n\t\n\t\n\tProfessional level verbal and written communication skills.
\n\t\n\t\n\tDetail Oriented.
\n\t\n\t\n\tProficient in MS Office, and basic computer skills.
