Overview CORT Tradeshow and Events is hiring immediately for a full-time Repair Shop Supervisor in Las Vegas, NV! CORT Events provides furniture rental solutions to trade shows and events including festivals, weddings, corporate events, or even the Superbowl! The primary purpose of this job is to supervise the Furniture Repair shop employees. This position will report to the Repair Shop and Distribution Warehouse Manager. Pay: Starting at $50,000 annually. What We Offer Promote from within culture Comprehensive health insurance (medical, dental, vision) available on the first of the month after hire date 401(k) retirement plan with company match Paid vacation, sick days, and holidays Company-paid disability and life insurance Tuition reimbursement Employee discounts and perks Responsibilities • Daily management of 8 to 12 Repair/Refinisher employees • Conduct daily start of shift meeting including exercise program • Train personnel in the basics of repair and manufacture • Follow all safety protocols and procedures and ensure that all employees are working safely • Oversee the quality of the work produced • Maintain the organization of the shop • Meet the Daily Production Goals • Organize and requisition the materials and supplies needed for the shop • Track daily repaired/manufactured pieces for warehouse report • Remove and replace laminates • Remove and replace upholstery • Apply paint or other finishes • Manufacture new furniture as needed • Other duties as assigned Qualifications • Minimum of high school diploma • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and able to learn new programs. • A minimum of two years of prior shop experience (metal, wood, repair, maintenance, etc). Furniture repair preferred but not mandatory. • Previous supervisory experience preferred, but not required. Must pass background checks and drug screening (does not include THC) as a condition of employment. CORT also participates in the E-Verify program.
