**Job Title: Assembler/Assembly Technician** **Job Description** Perform multiple complex assembly operations of products and sub-assemblies according to Bill of Material (BOM), Bill of Operations (BOO), assembly drawings, and other work instructions. Ensure accurate assembly and quality control of fabricated products. **Responsibilities** + Ensure accurate and efficient assembly of fabricated products per work order. + Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and job safety requirements. + Perform final visual and functional inspection of products as required. + Identify and isolate any non-conforming products. + Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis and testing. + Review technical drawings and recommend work process improvements. + Participate in Lean/Continuous Improvement initiatives. + Assist with ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and maintenance of work area, equipment, and the entire plant. + Train others on work processes. + Involve in cycle/physical counts as required. + Cross-train in multiple department functions as needed. + Perform other duties according to business needs. **Essential Skills** + Experience with hand and power tools. + Experience in electrical soldering and wiring. + Experience in production, blueprint reading, electronic assembly, and mechanical assembly. + Ability to read and write English and follow verbal and written instructions. + Ability to work effectively alone and within a team environment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School diploma or equivalent (i.e., GED). + 2 to 3 years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience. + Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. + Prior experience with electrical assemblies and building mechanical assemblies. + Electromechanical certification is a plus. + Prior experience troubleshooting and repairing electromechanical devices. **Why Work Here?** Join a team dedicated to continuous improvement and innovation. The role involves standing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling regularly. Regular use of hands for handling objects, tools, or controls is required. The position demands close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds or more. The environment requires operating manufacturing equipment, which demands gross and fine motor skills and eye-hand coordination.
