Repair Technician - Entry Level
**Job Title: Repair Technician** **Job Responsibilities** + Diagnose, replace, repair, and rebuild oxygen tanks and systems for aircraft. + Use diagnostic equipment and various tools specific to the trade. + Apply principles and practices of electrical and electronics theory. + Interpret and follow technical manuals, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and schematics. + Follow safety, health, and environmental guidelines as per industry and government standards. + Assist with research and development of new repair capabilities. + Maintain shop equipment and supplies. + Make computer entries and complete paperwork such as Service Reports and 8130-3’s in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies. **Essential Skills** + Troubleshooting + Repair + Use of hand tools + Mechanical aptitude + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in component repair + Mechanically inclined **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic and growing team that values innovation and precision. Technicians will work on cylinders/regulators, high-pressure tanks, and oxygen masks. The role involves a combination of hands-on repair work and administrative tasks, including documentation and compliance with FAA regulations. The work environment emphasizes adherence to safety standards and the use of specialized diagnostic and repair tools. Hours are Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Van Nuys, California **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
