Repair Technician Level l (M - F 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM)
Our Opening and Your ResponsibilitiesRole/Purpose:
An X-Ray Repair Technician l will be repairing and refurbishing X-Ray systems and their main components. This includes:Providing factory repair services of Mettler-Toledo X-Ray systems from external customers and company owned stock equipment used for rentals, trade shows and demos.Refurbishing of X-Ray generators, X-Ray detectors and Industrial computers as part of our exchange program.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Follow detailed mechanical prints, electrical schematics, parts lists, work instructions, processes, and proceduresConstruct, refurbish and repair product inspection equipment in accordance with Risk Assessment and Safe Mechanical and Electrical guidelinesInspect, repair and test Mettler-Toledo systems R20, R40, X33 and X36Refurbish and Test of X-Ray Generators, HiQ and HiGain DetectorsMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work area to ensure maximum efficiencyMaintain a positive work atmosphere by performing and communicating in a manner that promotes good relationships with customers, clients, co-workers, and managementConserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job resultsAccurately track and record time spent on projectsAdhere to all company policies and proceduresOther duties as assignedWhat You Need to SucceedRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Mechanical and electrical aptitudeKnowledge of safe practices with electricity and the use of hand and power toolsAttention to detail and good troubleshooting skillsBasic computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite and SAPQuality focusedExcellent communication skills, both oral and writtenAbility to handle multiple projects and prioritiesAble to be a self-starter and to consistently meet deadlinesAbility to safely lift 50 lbs. and work in multiple positions (ie Stand, sit, lay, squat, bend, kneel) for prolonged periods of timeThis position is considered safety sensitive and is subject to drug testing as permitted by law.
