Job Title: Repair Test Technician
Job Description

As a Repair Test Technician, you will be responsible for the repair and calibration of industrial controls, including PCBs, timers, counters, PLCs, drives, monitors, and temperature & process controls. Experience in the servo and robotics industry is a plus. You will test the functionality of each repaired unit, order necessary parts, update tracking notes, and perform repairs down to the component level using excellent soldering and troubleshooting skills. Proficiency with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multi-meters, and function generators is essential.

ResponsibilitiesPerform soldering and troubleshooting down to component level using test equipment (oscilloscope, multi-meter, function generator).Document actions taken on each item and communicate completions, obstacles, and concerns.Verify part numbers on all units processed.Inspect, clean, and test all units.Isolate unit failures and perform repairs.Properly use shop assets and test fixtures.Conduct power and diagnostic testing of all units.Support quality methods, processes, and procedures.Support and improve the quality of the final product.Develop capabilities and process pre-evaluation units to 'RTS' (Ready to Sell) condition.Handle and label all units properly.Manage time effectively and prioritize work.Use IT systems proficiently.Provide your own hand/power tools.Essential SkillsStrong computer proficiency.Ability to multi-task and work at a fast pace.Capability to work independently and with detail orientation.Excellent troubleshooting and soldering skills.Effective problem-solving and communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma and Technical School Certification preferred.One to three years of related experience and/or training.Technical or industrial product knowledge is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is a warehouse setting with a casual but professional dress code. Employees are required to wear company-branded apparel once provided and adhere to safety requirements. Work hours are typically 8:00am to 5:00pm or 10:00am to 7:00pm, Monday through Friday, with mandatory overtime on Saturdays and additional overtime as needed. The environment is climate-controlled, ensuring a comfortable workspace.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $58240.00
