Overview

What you will do:

Reads/interprets shipping schedules, stages doors, sorts by length, width, customer, core type to create correct stacks for shippingConduct pre-shift inspection of the forklift to ensure safety and operational complianceFuel forklifts as requiredProvide safe operation of forklift throughout the facility. Abide by all safety rules and regulations required with forklift operationPay attention to detail when pulling items from Warehouse based on work orderAssist with repairs in the Quality DepartmentAssists with other repairs throughout the facilityReplace pallets/runners as necessary to maintain a safe working environmentWill also perform other related duties as assigned, which may not be specifically listed in the job description. This is a hybrid role in that the employee will be working in numerous departments.

What you will need:

Preferably one year experience in manufacturing settingHS Diploma or GED preferredAble to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screenPrior forklift operation in manufacturing environmentMust read and write EnglishMust demonstrate solid teamwork abilities

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Forklift knowledge and safety procedures Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environmentSolid verbal and written communication skillsAbility to lift to 50+ lbs.
