Outstanding opportunity for a News Reporter to join Australia's largest media organisation.

Work for NewsCorp's Newswire service providing valuable content for all mastheads, news.com.au and the Australian as well as external clients.
This role would suit an early-career journalist and will work within our existing team to cover the biggest news of the day on a national scale, general news out of Queensland and some court reporting as required.

This is a full time, permanent position based out of News Corp’s office in Bowen Hills, Brisbane 

Key Responsibilities

File engaging copy to strict deadlinesReport on a wide range of topics as the news cycle dictatesPitch and generate original news stories and ideasRespond to breaking news events outside of rostered hours when required
