You'll be part of modernizing the EHR platform to enable better data access, patient experience, and quality of care for 567 tribes, 37 states and over 600 medical facilities.Our work depends on a Reporting and Analytics Developer joining our team to support the Indian Health Service (IHS) Electronic Health Records Modernization (EHRM) program. As a Reporting and Analytics Developer supporting the IHS EHRM program, you will be responsible for Business Intelligence and report development.This position is fully remote. As a Reporting and Analytics Developer supporting an EHR modernization program, you will be trusted to be a subject matter expert in a matrixed team responsible for assisting in gathering reporting requirements, developing reports and analytics (including Cerner Millennium CCL, Discern, and/or HealtheIntent/HealtheAnalytics Reports), understanding, and applying vendor technology roadmaps, ensuring standards integration within the products, health information management compliance, and developing mission critical products to our customer. In this role, a typical day will include:Serving as a clinical, financial and operational reporting subject matter expert, playing a key role in the development of automated, scheduled or ad-hoc reports and datasets within the Cerner portfolio of solutionsStaying abreast of various vendor functional and technical roadmaps related to reporting and analytics, and supporting integration of new capabilities into program needsDeveloping Cerner Millennium CCL-based (Cerner Command Language), HealtheIntent/HealtheEDW/HealtheAnaytics reporting and analytics products per customer and project specificationsSupporting expert guidance into the collection of reporting requirements and designWorking alongside the Data Management and Interoperability teams, and the customer, to support any arising key clinical, financial and administrative data for potential reporting needsWorking alongside the Validation teams, assessing and developing test cases for reporting use case scenariosSupporting documentation for tracking, prioritization, and resolution of issues detected related to report developmentREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Cerner reporting and analytics platforms (Millennium and HealtheIntent)5+ years' experience with Cerner reporting platforms (CCL and/or HealtheIntent)Experience integrating small teams of report and analytics developersExperience working with Cerner data structures and toolsExperience optimizing SQL queriesExperience in data visualization tools (SAP BO, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)Experience with data transformation and healthcare data standardsStrong communication skills, both written and verbalWork successfully with different teams and co-workersThe successful candidate must be able to obtain a Public Trust Security ClearanceAbility to travel <10% of the year, if neededDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:Knowledge of health and health finance terminologyKnowledge of health privacy regulations (HIPAA, 42CFR Part II, etc.)Experience with SnowflakeExperience with big data technologiesExperience in federal projects and familiarity with HHS EPLC processesAbility to work simultaneously on multiple tasks if necessary, handle changing priorities, be detail oriented, and able to work independentlyGDIT IS YOUR PLACE:Full-flex work week to own your priorities at work and at home.401K with company match.Comprehensive health and wellness packages.Internal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your career.Professional growth opportunities including paid education and certifications.Cutting-edge technology you can learn from.Rest and recharge with paid vacation and holidays.#IHSJobs#GDITHealth

The likely salary range for this position is $89,250 - $120,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
