Short Description

The purpose of this role is to develop and execute technical requirements and deliverables within the organization in pursuit of garnering experience in reporting and analysis in a Health Care organization. This role will complete individual projects as directed and will collaborate with reporting and analytics team members and external stakeholders to ensure clear, feasible requirements and delivery of an end product that will drive change and improve our care delivery.

 

Create reports, data visualizations, and analytical solutions that deliver actionable information to business leaders and providers

 

Utilize both the SAP Web Intelligence and Cooper Insights analytics and visualization reporting environments to produce and maintain reusable analytical solutions.

 

Identify and compile data from multiple sources.

 

Synthesize data sets in various formats to conform to required data analysis and reporting needs. 

 

Analyze routine and ad hoc data on risk, resource utilization, care management, and outcome measures. 

 

Identify strategies to improve reporting from EPIC and other medical records systems such as EMS charts to, and as needed, build or with other IT stakeholders to build improved data fields and data pulls. 

 

Work with the Center for Healing leadership team to develop and update quality metrics spanning clinical and grant services. Track and model multiple quality metrics as required to meet departmental goals.

 

Lead group meetings, both monthly and quarterly, to provide actionable, “real-time” institute and specialty performance metrics to members of leadership.

 

Work as a team player and collaborate effectively with others. This may involve assisting Grant Managers and Project Managers with program data needs and providing mentorship and assistance to new and/or less-experienced analysts.

 

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Power Point, Excel and Access), and Programming Languages (e.g. SQL, R and Python)

Experience Required

5 to 7 years of experience in business analytics and performing quantitative and qualitative analytics, preferably in the with at least 1 year in the healthcare industry.

 

3 to 5 years of experience working with advanced features in SAP Web Intelligence. Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in data extraction and data visualization

 

Previous experience working with healthcare data, knowledge of EPIC, and advanced data reporting environments

Education Requirements

B.S. Degree Required, Master’s Degree Preferred in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or Business Analytics) with a focus on Business or Healthcare Analytics.
