Administrative Systems Management (ASM) is looking for a Reporting and Analytics Senior IT Analyst to join our team. This role is a fantastic opportunity to support the reporting and analytics functions in SAP Business Warehouse and assist with report development and modification in other Duke SAP systems, especially S/4. You will be part of the SAP Center of Excellence at Duke University and Health System, reporting to the Reporting and Analytics Team lead (Assistant Director, IT).

 

 

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. A minimum of five years of experience in information technology, business operations, or financial management. A minimum of two years of direct experience with SAP, including requirements analysis, data modeling, configuration, and query development. Ability to manage multiple projects/assignments and work with a broad range of administrative, technical, and functional staff.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in higher education or health care. Broad understanding of University and Health System administration and operations. SAP Business Warehouse experience is the key skill for this position.

Essential Job Duties:

Serve as the lead resource on various new SAP reporting/decision support projects for the University and Health System. Duties include project management, requirements analysis, data modeling, system configuration, report development, report testing, and implementation. Project management duties include leading meetings, developing project plans, leading design and business process change efforts, identifying security requirements, developing test plans, and overall team coordination. Coordinate with constituents and ASM functional team resources (HR/Payroll, Finance, Sponsored Research, Procurement) to define requirements and draft report/query specifications. Collaborate with ASM’s partners in the Office of Information Technology to develop and configure data sources, transformations, and info-providers in Business Warehouse. Develop queries and reports in Business Warehouse, including query and dashboard development, report writing, documentation, testing, and training. Draft detailed specifications for report development in S/4. Collaborate with ABAP developers in the Office of Information Technology to review specifications, test, and revise developed report output as necessary. Provide daily support for Business Warehouse and related reporting functions, including troubleshooting Business Warehouse/Business Objects user problems and issues, especially Analysis for Office.
