Reporting & Decision Support Manager

Design and produce standard and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, cubes, and various data visualization reporting solutions. Gather and document report requirements. Write report specifications to meet business needs. Use reporting tools, applications, and/or queries to create and configure new reports and dashboards. Perform modifications and enhancements on existing reports based on evolving business requirements. Validate and test reports to ensure accuracy and quality. May participate in the design and development of business intelligence reporting tools. May provide support and training to end-users for reporting tools and reports.

Job Responsibilities:

Gather complex data inputs from multiple sources, both internally and externally. Identify new data sources that will enhance business outcomes and support strategic and tactical objectives. Provide insights on trends and drivers behind the results and prepare reports on findings.

Assesses the needs of the business, prioritize projects and drive new reporting requirements to completion. Work cross-functionally as needed to enable data architecture and solutions that best meet the analytics and reporting needs of the business. Drive clarity or requirements and ensure delivery meets agreed upon requirements.

Identify and communicate key insights to leadership team based on reports and analysis.

Work cross functionally in order to proactively and systematically identify and implement any enhancements to reporting and analytics processes

May assume project/initiative responsibility

Complete complex ad-hoc research, analysis, and reporting.

Serves as a subject-matter expert on the team.

May provide guidance to more junior employees or act as a team lead.

Education:


Bachelor's Degree Business, Finance, Information Management or related field
 

Work Experience:

4-7 years Experience mining data and developing reports using a variety of reporting/analytics software packages with an aptitude for learning new reporting software packages.

Base Pay Range: $81,200 - $146,600

Corporate Bonus Target: 15%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
