The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with reporting tools like Tableau and Dash Plotly Enterprise and a strong background in Python and SQL. This role will also require proficiency in working within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly with BigQuery, and familiarity with DBT for data transformation and modeling.** **Key Responsibilities:** **Reporting and Visualization: Develop, maintain, and optimize reports and dashboards using Tableau, Dash Plotly Enterprise, and other visualization tools. Translate business requirements into technical solutions that provide actionable insights. Ensure data visualizations are intuitive, user-friendly, and accurately represent underlying data.** **Data Management: Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract data from various sources, including BigQuery. Leverage DBT to transform and model data within BigQuery, ensuring high-quality data pipelines. Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure data availability, integrity, and consistency.** **Automation and Scripting: Use Python to automate data processing and report generation, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of insights. Develop scripts to streamline and automate repetitive tasks, improving efficiency across reporting processes.** **Cloud Platform Management: Manage and optimize BigQuery resources to ensure performance and cost-efficiency in reporting processes. Implement and monitor GCP's data security and governance policies to maintain compliance with industry standards.** **Collaboration and Support: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and provide tailored solutions. Offer technical support and guidance to junior members of the reporting team, fostering their professional development. Lead training sessions to improve the team's proficiency with reporting tools and best practices.** **Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in reporting technologies and best practices. Identify opportunities for improving reporting processes and implementing new features or tools. Encourage a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the reporting team.** **Qualifications:** **Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.** **Minimum of 3 years’ experience with Tableau OR Dash Plotly Enterprise** **Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with large datasets, particularly within BigQuery.** **Familiarity with DBT for data transformation and modeling within cloud environments.** **Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.** **Experience working within GCP, with a strong understanding of cloud-based data infrastructure.** **Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.** **Strong communication skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.**
