This role in summary

 

Whirlpool is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Representative Technician. This is onsite role based at our St. Joseph Tech Center in Michigan.

Your responsibilities will include

 

Provide product and component testing, analysis, and problem solving while developing and applying a strong understanding of appliance operations and lab procedures.Take a role in developing, executing, and documenting new test procedures, gathering knowledge through test results and applying that information to analyze problems for root cause. Maintain a strong communication link to the supervisor and related departments.Minimum requirements

 

Engineering Technical Certificate or Associates Degree in Electrical/Electronics or Science field or, in lieu of a Technical Certificate, an Associate's Degree and 2+ years engineering test laboratory experience1+ years of electronics, software, or mechanical experience 1+ years of experience performing engineering testing and creating engineering reportsPreferred skills and experiences

 

Previous knowledge and work with applicable appliancesCommunicating results with recommendations​​​ Continuous Improvement and 5S mindsetStrong verbal and written communication skillsExperience with personal computers, Google suite or Microsoft Office
