The Representative I Production Scientist (12 month FTC) for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics Co. Clare is responsible for the safe and efficient manufacture of immunoassay reagents and conjugates both essential components of the IA immunoassay reagent kits.

This position is part of the Immunoassay team located just outside Tulla in Lismeehan, O'Callaghan's Mills, Co. Clare and will be onsite. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will be a part of the Immunoassay team and report to the IA Formulation Supervisor. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Manufacture Immunoassay Diagnostic Reagents

Manufacture Conjugates 

Complete in process testing of IA Diagnostic Reagents

Work with technical operations, validation, and other relevant departments to lead the implementation of new processes and process improvements, including validation activities.

Create and book off all work orders for formulation area.

The essential requirements of the job include:

Relevant Hons Bachelor’s Degree (level 8) such as in a Science related discipline. 

Familiarity with laboratory equipment such as HPLC / UPLC, analytical balance, pH meter, pipettes, fume hoods, spectrophotometers, etc.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Experience in a Laboratory/Manufacturing environment with good working knowledge of laboratory techniques would be an advantage.
