We are currently looking for a Representative/Sr. Representative Interconnects in Houston, TX.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
In this role, you will be responsible for implementing the company’s business development plan oriented to interconnect attachments, capacity sales and capital project opportunities targeted towards natural gas end-users. You will assist with the development of strategy objectives, contracting strategies, promotional programs and ensure their execution.
Additional responsibilities include:
+ Work with LDC & Power customers to develop and execute Interconnect Agreements (ICA’s) and/or manage the interconnection aspects of expansion projects and precedent agreements
+ Work with LDC & Power customers on maintenance projects, meter station replacements, expansion opportunities, abandonments, etc.
+ Work with internal Engineering and Measurement to develop project scope, cost and to execute projects.
+ Work with System Planning, Operations and Gas Control on Maintenance events and outages that effect LDC and Power customers.
+ Manage receipt and delivery matters in LDC and Power transportation agreements, such as point realignments, establishment of child/aggregate groupings and SCO customer affidavits
+ Effectively communicate with customers BWP business requirements while maintaining good customer relationships.
+ Work within existing LDC & Power team environment to manage and develop customer relationships.
+ Assist with any scheduling, billing or contractual issues customers may have.
+ Manage and negotiate customer problem resolutions and settlements.
+ Manage and negotiate sale of underutilized pipeline assets.
+ Assist in the preparation and presentation of project recommendations for management approval.
+ Work collaboratively with Customer Service and other Commercial groups, keeping them apprised of customer needs and any deviations.
+ Prepare necessary reports (RFP's, Metrics, Periodic Business Reviews) and presentations.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:
+ Strong knowledge of finance with at least 2 years’ experience in a similar or related role
+ Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
+ Ability to work well with peers and customers
+ Strong organizational and analytical skills
+ General knowledge of gas operations and associated equipment
PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:
+ Working knowledge of North American supply basins, exploration and production operations, pipeline industry, project economics, pipeline design, project finance, market analysis, financial analysis and strategic planning
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
+ Bachelor’s degree in business , finance, or related discipline
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
+ MBA in Finance
