What you’ll do:
The Manager will ensure efficient and effective retail operations, as well as maintain a high level of production, efficiency, quality, and customer service. This position reports to the Director of Community and Business Development.
• Train and supervise students and community volunteers
• Promote and market the business to attract new customers while maintaining existing customers using social media platforms, sales, community engagement, etc.
• Create attractive displays; monthly store resets
• Manages cash flow, daily deposits, student tips and donation receipts
• Work collaboratively with the other members of the team (I.e. training center managers, community partners, CSA and DLA staff) to ensure efforts are coordinated in both day-to-day operations and for special events
• Supervise employees, staff helpers, and students as applicable
• Manage and sort intake of daily donations. Maintains daily and monthly inventory logs of donations and merchandise
• Completes required reports and documentation in a timely manner, provides management with required reports and advises of any problematic situations
To be considered, you should:
Have a High School diploma or equivalent. Have at least one year of experience working in an office environment. Have experience and success in retail environment. Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
