The Joint, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Interagency Division (JOID) provides expert support services to a range of customers spanning across the Department of Defense, Federal Civilian, and international markets. JOID provides a diverse portfolio of analytical and programmatic capabilities to help our customers make informed decisions on their most challenging issues.
The Critical Infrastructure Group (CIG) within JOID provides technical, programmatic and analytical support to customers with missions in national security to include the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Health and Human Services (HHS), and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The Group brings technical and operational expertise in fields of countering weapons of mass destruction, critical infrastructure protection, emergency response, nuclear non-proliferation, weapons deployment programs, and transportation safety. In addition to management and advisory services, CIG staff collaborate closely with our clients to provide high-quality modeling, simulation, software, and analytical products to meet the most demanding government standards and timelines.
We have a near-term need for a Requirements Analyst to provide onsite support out of a Government facility in Washington, DC.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop system design and integration strategies for systems. Define system interfaces and ensure interoperability between subsystems. Collaborate with software, hardware, and test engineers to ensure system requirements are met. Support system verification and validation activities, including test planning and execution. Elicit, analyze, document, and manage system and software requirements. Work with stakeholders to define system capabilities and performance requirements. Develop requirements traceability matrices (RTM) to ensure coverage throughout the development lifecycle. Use tools such as DOORS, Jama, or other requirements management software to maintain requirement baselines. Support impact analysis of proposed changes to system requirements, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
QualificationsRequired:
Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of experienceAbility to obtain and retain a CBP Background InvestigationExperience in systems engineering, requirements analysis, or a related disciplineExperience with requirements management tools such as DOORS, Jama, or equivalentAbility to create and interpret system diagrams, specifications, and interface control documentsDesired:

Salary transparency pay range for the Washington DC area: $115K- $130K
