Amentum is seeking a **Requirements Analyst** to provide support for a Department of Defense (DoD) customer in **Springfield, VA** . In this role, you will assist in executing all phases of the client’s capability development lifecycle process. This includes supporting requirement verification and validation processes, monitoring and tracking requirement changes, facilitating change control boards, and updating applicable requirements documentation to align with customer needs. You will also assist with identifying and prioritizing broad capability gaps, conducting requirements analysis and decomposition, and documenting operational requirements for the development of specific capabilities.
**Job Responsibilities:**
+ Maintain, monitor, and control requirements inputs into the clients’ capability development lifecycle process, to include providing guidance to leadership on specific requirements process phases, conducting requirements reviews, and working in concert with integrated project team (IPT) members during the planning and concept development phases.
+ Lead capability IPTs, track progress of capability development projects through assigned phase, present results to the customer at milestone decisions, and facilitate requirements review boards.
+ Draft detailed capability requirements documents that capture specific requirements related to the desired capability, the associated capability gap(s) being addressed, any previous development activities related to subject area, and all stakeholder input received during various phases of the requirements development process. This includes but is not limited to developing and updating the associated OV1, Concept of Employment, Comment Resolution Matrix, and Quad Charts for each capability/concept.
+ Provide input to the strategic capability roadmap and conduct associated capability gap analyses in support of the customer’s strategic priorities.
+ Research and forecast future requirements 1-5 years out to maintain and/or increase the customer’s capabilities associated with their assigned mission areas.
+ Assist the client with developing and sustaining a structured requirements plan of action and milestone timeline, aligning requirements development efforts to the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Executing (PPBE) process, standing guidance, and customer priorities.
+ Interface daily with senior leadership to develop requirements-related guidance, reports, briefings, and budget planning/validation.
+ Organize, coordinate, host, and guide meetings and various stakeholder forums as required by the customer.
+ Participate in IPT meetings, training courses, seminars, working groups, and other meetings that support the requirements and capability development process.
+ Coordinate and synchronize information and policy with partner organizations; develop Memorandums of Understanding and Agreement (MOUs and MOAs) where necessary.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Must have an Active Top Secret US Government Clearance with SCI eligibility. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Top-Secret Clearance.
+ DoD/Military Executive and Staff work experience at Squadron/Battalion level or higher.
+ Experience working with the PPBE process.
+ Working knowledge of the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDs).
+ Experience with government contracting processes and procedures.
+ Strong experience using Microsoft applications (SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project specifically).
+ Superb communication and organizational skills
+ Ability to work both independently and within a structured team.
+ Excellent multidisciplinary research, analysis, synthesis, and various report writing skills.
+ Ability to translate customer needs into detailed concept requirement documents.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interface with senior leadership and stakeholders.
**Other Requirements:**
+ This is a non-remote, full-time onsite position.
+ Occasional travel is required (0-10%).
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Previous experience directly supporting DoD/Military capability and requirements development.
+ Familiarization with DoD style guides and report writing.
