Lockheed Martin Space in Herndon, VA is seeking a Full Time Agile Product Owner / Requirements Engineer. In this role, you will collaborate with external stakeholders and the internal software team of developers and testers, to develop mission critical software used around the world. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of agile software development, software testing, and gathering user feedback.
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require obtaining a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
Acceptable degree programs include science and technology related disciplines such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Cyber Security or related discipline.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information, including US Citizenship. Applicants must have a TS/SCI Clearance for this role.
Preference for this requisition will be given to Space Employees.
Desired Skills:
• Experience as Agile Release Train Engineer, Agile Scrum Master or Agile Product Owner
• Previous technical leadership experience on software development project(s)
• Understanding of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology and processes
• Familiarity with planning and scheduling tools and techniques and software development processes are highly desired skills for the job.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Experience with Application Lifecycle Management tools (TFS/Azure/VersionOne/JIRA)
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
