In this role, you will be responsible for supporting a wide array of tasks from office management and light database support leveraging maintenance administration expertise. The position is within OPNAV Air Warfare Division, Logistics and Readiness Branch, N98L
Role and Responsibilities:
Assist and provide policy, guidance, and oversight of the Fixed Induction Date (FID) and Integrated Maintenance Review
Board (IMRB) processes in coordination with OPNAV Resource Sponsor, Program Offices, Fleet Support Teams (FST),
NAVAIR Competencies, and Type Commanders.
Receive, review, and process FID adjustment requests IMRB packages.
Prepare and submit FID request responses to TYCOMs via naval message.
Assist Aircraft Inventory Manager in the preparation, update, and completion of aircraft inventory reports and budget documents deliverables.
Extract data from Decision Knowledge Programming for Logistics Analysis and Technical Evaluation (DECKPLATE),
Aircraft Inventory and Readiness Reporting System (AIRRS), and PBIS databases.
Prepare responses to FOIA requests for review and release by government personnel.
Assist in the management of office communication:
Telephone
Sort and distribute mail
Prepare and maintain appointment calendars for shared resources
Coordinate and schedule appointments in N98 conference rooms
Facilitate VTC and audio bridge reservations with Government providers
Perform visitor control functions (greet, screen, validate, convey to point of contact, etc.).
Facilitate correspondence (letters, directives, memoranda, newsletters, etc):
Prepare draft template and standard language
Edit for spelling, grammar, and format
Prepare templates and edit graphical presentations and spreadsheets
Provide multimedia and audiovisual support for N98 meeting and conferences. Specifically, oversee and support VTC set-up and verify equipment operation for the N98 conference rooms.
Provide draft correspondence, naval messages, assistance with faxing, copying, collating of issue papers, point papers, instructions, speeches, articles, presentations, and briefings and other correspondence as required.
Prepare templates, submit, track, and retrieve travel orders and travel vouchers for the Government; coordinate transportation and lodging reservations.
Process electronic mail and naval messages.
Provide business operations support and security expertise during meetings:
Integrate and distribute agendas
Draft, administer, and distribute minutes
Copy and distribute documentation
Develop and maintain files (hard copy and electronic)
Participate in preparation of Personnel listings, and manual updates.
Track inventory of required office supplies and equipment in the assigned office space and make a tracker available for the purposes of supply ordering by the Government.
Archive and store historical documentation.
Basic Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in a related field. 8 years of related experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
Minimum 5 years’ experience participating in specific business services and OPNAV internal business operations.
Proficient knowledge of OPNAV security regulations.
Expert knowledge of OPNAV and Secretariat business functions, operations, facilities management, physical security,
Defense Travel System (DTS), training, and office automation/communications requirements support.

Must have an active SECRET level clearance.
