Research Admin Assistant
Overview This position will help to support research endeavors for the PANS/PANDAS clinic. Individual will be responsible for basic research duties and will have the opportunity for exposure to clinical research with opportunities to learn a wide variety of research related duties. Responsibilities 1. Assists with study start-up activities, including processing new study materials, entering studies into the Clinical Trails Management System, and distributing materials to appropriate Bus Operations Associates. Assists in gathering information for resource meetings, coordinating items for the agenda, and distributing materials to participants prior to the meeting. 2. Performs Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable duties including invoicing sponsors, recording sponsor payments received, and requesting payments for participant stipends, Institutional Review Board fees, and other study expenses. Tracks payables/receivables and follows up on issues. 3. Reconciles sponsor payments to invoices. Reports any discrepancies. 4. Prepares materials for Business Operations Associate review, including itemizations, statements, and standard of care reports. Processes all materials after review. Creates forms for new studies including patient milestone tracking form and screen failure form. 5. Enters data in financial management database. 6. Performs other duties as required or assigned Qualifications ● Associates degree or the equivalent in education and experience required. ● Knowledge of medical terminology desired. ● Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. ● Proficient computer skills essential. ● Knowledge of Velos preferred.
