Research Admin - CROWN Consortium
Summary Department: Clincal Research Schedule: Full time - Day shift - Salaried Facility: St. Vincent Hospital and subcontracted to Ascension Wisconsin and Aspirus Location: Green Bay, WI Additional Info: Hybrid remote (will need to be onsite full time for onboarding and training) Occasional travel within Wisconsin and some out of state travel required Experience working with grants, project management experience and/or clinical research experience preferred Additional questions please contact: Lauren Aman at lauren.aman@hshs.org Provides broad oversight and guides strategic planning for the Cancer Research of Wisconsin and Northern Michigan (CROWN) Consortium program by working closely with each main institution/health system. Leads and coordinates business functions, grant obligations, budgeting and fiscal management, clinical protocol management, and quality controls. Builds working relationships and engages consortium member participation through education, quality improvement initiatives, and providing project support to develop and maintain the required standards necessary to deliver quality research services. Establishes and maintains relevant controls and feedback systems to monitor the operation of all areas of responsibility. Educates new CROWN members on the background, functions, and goals of the consortium. Performs duties related to the business operations of CROWN Consortium and exercises discretion and independent judgment. Qualifications Education Bachelors degree in science, healthcare or research-related field is required. Masters degree in research, healthcare, business management or project management or research related field is preferred. Experience Three (3) or more years of progressively more responsible leadership experience in healthcare field is required. Three (3) or more years experience as a certified clinical research professional (i.e., certification through Society of Clinical Research Associates (SoCRA), Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP), Society of Research Administrators International (SRAI)-Research Administration certificate, etc) is required. Two (2) or more years of experience in clinical research program development and implementation; Demonstrated experience in project management involving multiple stakeholders is preferred. Certifications, Licenses and Registrations Relevant research certification such as Society of Clinical Research Associates (SoCRA), Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP), Society of Research Administrators International (SRAI)-Research Administration certificate, etc is required. Human Subject Protection and Good Clinical Practices Training through the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) is required within 30 days of hire. Valid driver’s license is required. Valid car insurance is required. Project management certification is preferred.
