ICF Next is seeking a Research Advisor to play a critical role in supporting Federal communications efforts.  The advisor will assist strategic planning efforts and content development and strategy by providing guidance and advice on initiative development and advising staff on subject matter expertise, in order to help projects meet their goals.

Responsibilities 

Support strategic planning efforts across NCI program areasProvide program review servicesSupport facilitation of small and large groups to address program reviews/changesProvide guidance and advice on initiative developmentProvide mentorship as it relates to scientific partnerships and communicating with stakeholdersSupport content development, specifically around cancer controlWork on multiple projects, often juggling priorities and working with tight deadlinesProvide a variety of administrative support to a complex project or multiple projectsCreate and edit correspondence documents, reports and presentations using Excel, PowerPoint, and WordWork closely with client and internal team members and participate in special projects as required

 Qualifications:  

PHD, DrPH, MD or equivalent experience required8+ years of experience in strategy development and implementation related to advancing the use of new solutions (i.e. epidemiology and genomics)Experience working in Federal government and background in cancer control

Professional Skills:

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral Ability to work in a fast-paced environment  Proficient in Windows PC environment, including Microsoft Office applications ​Communicates clearly and concisely and works well with all types of personalities Strong organizational and time management skills and extreme attention to detail.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$107,936.00 - $183,491.00
