Posting Summary Participate in research activities in support of the Transportation Research Center. Perform technical and complex analysis of travel behavior, energy use and vehicle emission data. Produce data-rich and interactive online visualizations, maps and data dashboards for research projects in the transportation and energy sectors. Produce written reports, briefs, and articles for technical, public policy and general audiences. Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience) Master’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering or related science and three to five years’ related experience required. PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering or related science, ability to demonstrate excellent and creative proficiency in R, R-Shinny, Python, GIS , website design and cartography. Ability to write clearly and concisely to a wide range of audiences, including policy makers, researchers and the general public about complex and technical topics. Desirable Qualifications Applicants should have experience with probability and statistics including knowledge of linear regression and discrete choice modeling. Applicants should have experience with EPA MOVES .
