Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a per diem Research Assistant for the department of Neuroscience & Cell Biology at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

Under direction of the Principal Investigator, perform independent research utilizing Electron microscopy of 12 mouse brains. 

Among the key duties of this position are the following:  As directed, performs research in the lab to study mouse brains.   Selection of the caudal corpus callosum from demyelinated brains for evaluation and staining.   Sectioning with a vibratome and embedding tissue selections.   Taking photographs for statistical evaluation.   Keep detailed records of procedures and experiments.   Handle additional related responsibilities as assigned.  Position Status Per Diem Hours Per Week Daily Work Shift Day Work Arrangement This position requires a fully on-site work arrangement.
