Research Assistant
Intensive research and scholarly work on gyn research projects. The Johns Hopkins Radiation Oncology Department has an opening for a **_Research Assistant._** **Specific Duties & Responsibilities** + Perform preclinical research and development under the review of a principial investigator for the technology development and implementation for the preclinical cancer research. + Prepare biological in vitro and in vivo samples for irradiation, imaging, and histopathological assessment. + Coordinate with technical and administrative resources in the experimental cores and other collaborative labs for the conduction of the research projects. + Assist with the writing and editing of manuscripts. + Present research projects at meetings and conferences. + Perform data collection and/or statistical analysis for various research projects. + Assist with tasks on other research projects as required. **Minimum Qualifications** + Bachelor's Degree in related discipline. + Some related experience. + Additional related experience may substitute for required education, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula. **Preferred Qualifications** + Applicants who have MS or PhD with two-year experience in preclinical research will be preferred.
